The Water Research Center of the University of Ljubljana is a part of the European-African Cluster of Excellence, which brings together seven European and nine African universities and develops solutions for water resource management in the face of climate and social change. Africans have a great deal of experience in coping with extremely challenging conditions, while Europe can provide advanced technological solutions. Andreja Žgajnar Gotvajn and Barbara Hribar Lee spoke with the Delo reporter Saša Senica about the challenges of water resource management in the World of global changes, where the interdisciplinary approach is crucial.
