Is hot tap water really bad for our health? Radiovedni – Val 202

Prof. dr. Andreja Žgajnar Gotvajn participated in a podcast Radiovedni on radio Val202 to discuss the safety of hot tap water with radio reporter Ajda Kus.

She explained that it is best not to use hot tap water directly for drinking or cooking. When water is heated or stored, even water that is otherwise safe to drink can become contaminated. Sediment accumulates in water heaters as a result of water hardness or the leaching of substances from pipes.
