While about a quarter of the world’s population still lacks reliable access to safe drinking water, in Slovenia we have it almost everywhere we go. This is not merely a gift of nature, but also the result of decades of scientific work, careful management of water resources, and an efficient drinking water supply system. In the podcast, Prof. Dr. Barbara Hribar Lee, head of the Center for Water Research at the University of Ljubljana, and Prof. Dr. Andreja Žgajnar Gotvajn, a member of the strategic committee and researcher at the same center, discussed the importance of clean water and the challenges future generations will face in ensuring its availability.
